How to Clean and Care for Your Toys

Proper cleaning isn’t just about hygiene — it also extends the life of your products. Here’s a simple routine to keep everything in great condition.

Clean Before and After Every Use

Even toys that haven’t been shared should be cleaned before first use, to remove manufacturing residue, and after every use.

Know Your Material

• Silicone, glass, and stainless steel: Wash with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, or a dedicated toy cleaner. Glass and steel without electronics can typically be boiled for a deeper clean — check the product description first.
• ABS plastic and electronic components: Never submerge unless the product is explicitly listed as waterproof. Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap instead.

Avoid Harsh Products

Skip alcohol-based cleaners, strongly fragranced antibacterial soaps, and anything abrasive — these can degrade silicone over time and irritate skin.

Dry Thoroughly

Pat dry with a clean, lint-free towel before storing. Moisture left on silicone can encourage bacterial growth.

Store Separately

Keep each product in its own pouch or box rather than piled together — silicone can react with other materials if left in contact for long periods. A dedicated drawer away from direct sunlight works well.

Check Batteries and Charging Ports

For rechargeable items, keep charging ports dry and free of debris. For battery-powered items, remove batteries during long storage periods to avoid corrosion.

A little care goes a long way — a well-maintained toy will perform better and last significantly longer.
